    inmidtown represents the interests of 560 businesses in Bloomsbury, Holborn and St Giles. Their brief as a Business Improvement District (BID) is to enhance the commercial viability of the area and help it realise its full economic potential.  They deliver tangible benefits for their members by providing practical, cost-effective services such as recycling and joint procurement. They also aim to add value to the work of Camden Council and Transport for London in the areas of street management, public realm and transport.

    Omicron have been working with inmidtown since January 2011 after winning a bid to provide Network and IT support services to their Windows based infrastructure. We maintain their Servers, PC’s, Laptops and Blackberry devices, providing both onsite and remote helpdesk services.

    Following a careful study of the market we performed a migration of their Exchange infrastructure to a Cloud based  Microsoft Office 365 environment which enabled them to transition to the use of Blackberry’s and also saving them over 50% of their annual email hosting costs. Office 365 allows them access to their emails on almost any device with Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity, anywhere in the world.

    inmidtown asked Omicron to help when they opened a new retail shop, we designed and implemented the network infrastructure and wireless network. We also assisted in the setup of the CCTV and LED displays/signage on the network.

    In essence we act as inmidtown’s IT Department, we are on hand when needed to advise and assist with any project, problem or questions that may arise and we do so with little fuss, good humour and good value.
